Housekeeping Manager

 
Position Description:
 

Oversee Housekeeping functions on a daily basis and ensure The SunDance Resort quality standards are exceeded. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SunDance Resort’s policies and applicable laws.

  Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Train new employees.

Plan, assign and direct work amongst housekeeping staff.
Address complaints and resolve problems.
Plan, organize and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with SunDance standards.
Assist in managing housekeeping and laundry operations budget and inventory control.
Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, etc.
   
  Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Supervisory or Management experience preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning products an asset.

  Skills/Abilities:
Possess exemplary communication skills and be able to work with a wide variety of people.
Be observant to work areas and be able to efficiently maintain all facets of the housekeeping department.
Team leadership.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction of housekeeping and laundry staff.
